So instead of posting outfits the same days I have worn them, like always, I have collected the few I photographed to leave here with you in the meanwhile. I thought I will be having my notebook with me, but even without, besides the one I already prepared I hope to get a lot of pics up!

Sand-beige cardigan from Tokyo, 1, 2, 3, and a new shirt I got at H&M on sale for 2€. The pants are the bf's, 1, 2 ^^
When I said that planning ahead is essential for traveling preparations, I told you because I forgot to order new contacts as back-up in time myself. Simon's request for a mention of Lensshopper, a guide for finding the best price for contact lenses, in order to find cheap contact lenses, had thus been not completely off-topic for me, because my eyesight is pretty bad. Also, I have seen a couple of my Asian friends wearing colored contacts more often lately, and it looks quite interesting. I have always semi-pondered about getting some with my prescriptions myself, especially now, because I could get my hands on some for cheaper at the moment. So if you have any experiences with colored contacts, I would be curious to hear. Seeing my friends, some contacts are quite obvious, while others look relatively natural.

I wear contacts too and have been dabbing with the idea of getting some colored ones but knowing me I could never decide on the color :P

I'm really on the fence about coloured contacts. When they're really obvious they really freak me out. Those that really blend and look natural don't. I just find it freaky when someone has blue eyes when you know they don't naturally have them. Especially when the colour of the blue is a plasticy looking one. So, I guess it's all about careful selection.
Great outfit, I wouldn't expect that your bf's pants would fit to you, because he so tall! And we have the same shirt :P God bless H&M for cheap sale.
About the coloured lenses: A classmate used to wear them but she bought them at a local optician, it was not more expensive than regular lenses and it works quite well on her, very natural. Different fron the coloured lenses which I have seen in e.g. Hong Kong.

i havent tried wearing contacts but i like it most in gray, brown, and green... while my sister bought me these "asian" contacts - which makes the eyes look bigger.. really interesting. i shud get my hands on those soon.. i think. :)

it's better than the blue ones which another classsmate has, because the classmate looks like those dolls with really big eye and eyelash blinking up and down heehee
nooooooooooooooo. colored contacts in the states have a bad association with trashy asians. especially in blue or grey.

I've never tried the coloured contacts because of what LC talked about, the association with trashy Asians, but I think hazel would look really interesting. I also want to try the ones they have in Asia that make your eyes look bigger.
Great outfit, I like chino trousers and double color blouse especially. And I love color lenses- now I'm wearing grassy green pair, but I'm thinking about hazel:)

About the coloured contacts - is your prescription bad enough though, that you can *still* get coloured contacts with prescription? Mmmh, what I mean is that my eyesight is so poor (astigmatism + high prescription), that i can't even BUY coloured contacts w/ that prescription.

I wore colored contacts once, they were not perscription as my eyesight isn't horrible. Obviously if you keep it close to your natural eye color, you should be okay. My eyes are naturally blue, and the contacts I had were just a touch more intense.

I really like your posts, I love the one about starts without make-up and the one where you talk about this modified image of beauty. You're right, nobody's perfect and it is a shame that some of us want to become perfect instead of learning to love and accept themselves.
