While the movie itself is one of the most worthwhile I know, what especially stood out in "Bonnie & Clyde" from 1967, besides its remarkable in-depth character portrayal, its brilliantly well-done capturing of the mood and their time, was for me, of course, the wardrobe.While Warren Beatty was impeccably well-dressed all the time, as was Gene Hackman, and even his uncongenial movie-wife (keyword: Jodhpurs!), played by Estelle Parsons, Faye Dunaway made the most remarkable style-impact.
I personally like this outfit the most. She has it all, a chic French beret, a loose pullover, high waisted, flowy A-line skirt, and the most darling ballet flats.
This one is good too, robbing a bank in perfect style! And also look at the old dame's dress in the background - something anyone of you would instantly pick up vintage.
I also recommend clicking through imdb.com's picture gallery, and Hannah Couture's post about her, who reminded me that I wanted to do a post about Dunaway for ages.

I love this movie. Faye Dunaway is an amazing actress and I adore the clothes in this film as well.
faye dunaway in this movie is the entire reason i went on a mad hunt for short sleeved sweaters in the middle of the summer. she looks absolutely amazing in the film.
